I can't cook or bake to save my life, but I do like to look at photos of food and bookmark recipe pages, and imagine that I may make that one day haha. Right now, the potato chip brownie is looking pretty tempting. I did try the chocolate mousse recipe though, and it was delicious!

Crashing a Wedding in Osaka

When we were in Osaka we 'crashed' a wedding there. ;) There was a very lovely church just about a block away on the same street as our hotel, so we decided to drop by for a look around, and discovered that there is a wedding reception going on inside.

Unfortunately, (or fortunately?) there wasn't anyone in the lobby hall. They must be having a ceremony in a room somewhere inside. The purple and white color scheme of the wedding is just so lovely that I can't help but took a few photos in there. Love the flower arrangements!

Things from Etsy that I would get for my mom. :) My mom doesn't wear a lot of jewelry, nor is she the fashionable or decorative type. However, she loves to cook and work in the kitchen, so I thought something that is more practical would be a better gift for my lovely mom!

Shinsaibashi-suji

After all those sight seeing, it's time for shopping. ;) This is Shinsaibashi-suji, it's a shopping haven in Osaka and just a few blocks from our hotel! Awesome isn't it? It's literally just a shopping street that goes for quite a few blocks, with shops and departmental stores lining both sides of the street.

This was the last dinner we were to have in Japan, and we decided to go for ramen since we haven't had any yet. And by lords, this is THE BEST ramen I've ever tasted in my life! It was just so gooood!! I would have a second bowl if I had a bigger stomach. I love food in Japan, just so so much!
